We went to Disneyworld this last birthday weekend and so many things to write about but I am sick as a dog and I don’t feel like telling it all. But we got a thousand pictures from my new digital camera, my b-day present from Tony. He is sooooo sweet. He knew exactly what I wanted for my b-day.
I learned a few things from my trip to Disneyworld.
- The Magic Kingdom is not fun when it is 50-something degrees outside. We got there at about noon, which was the day’s high of 65-66 F (18-19 C for you non-Americans) and it was all downhill from there. There was wind, there was sprinkling, there was haze. When we left the park it was a balmy 54 degrees. The next day it was sunny and in the 70s. Go figure.
- I look fat if I stand normally. I always thought that girls who suck it in and paint themselves and fluff their hair before a picture were so fake. I decided to try it out. I look better when I am in sunlight, standing with one leg slightly forward, chin raised a bit. I look fat and schlumpy otherwise. Always suck it in girls, always.
- The Magic Kingdom’s magic expires when you’re about 5 or 6 years old. It can be made fun again if you have brothers and sisters to snark around the park with you.
I have to go cook something, or my husband will kill me when he gets home. And I will post more when Blogger isn’t so DAMN slow.
